Urgent Hiring: Accounting Assistant in Retail

Overview

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial expenses, purchases, and transactions to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Track and update inventory in alignment with warehouse movements for effective stock management.
• Reconcile customer accounts, invoices, and bank statements to maintain financial integrity.
• Collaborate closely with the accounting team and sales department to uphold precise financial records.
• Assist in preparing detailed financial reports and support the audit process.
• Manage petty cash, vendor accounts, and basic payroll information efficiently.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• OR strong accounting knowledge combined with practical financial experience
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis
• Understanding of inventory management and tracking systems is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail along with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work Schedule:
• Monday – Saturday (Saturday operates on a shift basis).
