We have partnered with Yorkville University to paves a pathway for the students who wish to pursue their career in Accounting field. The graduates of the Advanced Accounting Diploma program at Western Community College get transfer credits towards the BBA program at Yorkville University, BC Campus. Students completing the diploma program at WCC who achieve the required academic standing may enroll into the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with one of the four specializations (Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Energy Management) program and receive advanced standing.

Laurentian University

High-achieving international students at Laurentian University can access one of Canada’s most generous scholarship programs, designed to reward academic excellence with substantial financial support. These scholarships provide significant funding opportunities for undergraduate international students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance. Scholarship Value and Awards 90% to 100% average: Up to $60,000 in total scholarship awards $15,000 awarded in the first year Renewable in subsequent years if the academic average is maintained 80% to 89.9% average: Up to $40,000 in total scholarship awards $10,000 awarded in the first year Renewable in subsequent years if the academic average is maintained Renewal Conditions Scholarships are renewable for a maximum of three years or until graduation, whichever comes first. To maintain the scholarship at the same value, students must keep an average above 80% (GPA = 7.5) or 90% (GPA = 9.5) in subsequent years. If the average decreases but remains above 80%, the scholarship amount will be recalculated according to the scholarship grid. The average calculation for scholarship purposes is not rounded up. Failure to meet disbursement and renewal regulations at any point results in loss of eligibility. Eligibility Criteria Open to international students enrolled in undergraduate programs only at Laurentian University. Students who already hold a prior degree are not eligible for this scholarship. To renew the scholarship, students must: Have studied full-time in the previous academic year (defined as May to April) Complete 30 credits in the academic year, with at least 24 credits taken during the Fall/Winter term Maintain a minimum average of 80% (GPA = 7.5) This scholarship program offers a fantastic opportunity for international students to fund their undergraduate studies at Laurentian University while being recognized for their academic excellence.
