Territory Sales Executived At Light Solar

Overview

Responsibilities

• Drive retail sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for a full range of d.light solar products in the assigned territory.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage channel partners including retailers, agents, and distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers and partners.
• Effectively manage stock levels and inventory to ensure optimal product availability at partner outlets.
• Conduct market visits, product demonstrations, and educate customers about solar energy solutions.
• Collect payments, manage receivables, and ensure timely revenue collection.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Represent d.light at local events, roadshows, and community outreach programs.
• Provide exceptional after-sales support and gather customer feedback to drive product enhancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in sales, ideally in FMCG, solar/energy, or consumer goods sectors
• Strong track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to work independently in the field and effectively manage a sales territory
• Valid driver’s license or willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM/sales software
• Genuine passion for clean energy solutions and social impact
• Preferred Skills
• Previous experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or last-mile distribution
• Established network of retailers or distributors within the assigned region
• Familiarity with Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) solar models
• Ability to communicate in local languages in the territory (an advantage)
