Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales:
• Welcome customers and provide prompt, courteous assistance to enhance their experience.
• Attend to customer inquiries and deliver accurate product information to help them make informed choices.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Sales Transactions & POS Operations:
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for all transactions to ensure seamless sales processes.
• Handle cash, card, and various payment methods with integrity and accountability, maintaining trust.
• Issue receipts and guarantee the proper documentation of all sales for transparent record-keeping.
• Store Operations & Management:
• Be responsible for the smooth opening and closing of the store each day.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Monitor stock levels diligently and report any shortages or discrepancies to ensure product availability.
• Assist in restocking and arranging products as necessary to maintain optimal inventory presentation.
• Record Keeping & Reporting:
• Maintain precise records of daily sales and transactions to support financial accuracy.
• Reconcile sales and cash at the end of each day to ensure accountability and avoid discrepancies.
• Report any inconsistencies or issues to management promptly to facilitate swift resolutions.
• General Support Duties:
• Carry out additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned to support overall store efficiency.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration to enhance the overall performance of the store environment.

Requirements

• **Job Requirements:**

• Must live in or around Egbeda and neighboring areas
• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is a plus
• Proficiency in operating a Point of Sale (POS) system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills and ability to maintain records accurately
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
