Job Description

Identify and reach out to potential customers (B2B or B2C) to promote solar and power backup solutions. Conduct site surveys to assess energy requirements and recommend the appropriate size for Inverters, Battery banks, and Solar arrays. Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations. Explain the ROI (Return on Investment) and payback periods for solar installations. (If applicable) Manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and electrical contractors to expand market reach. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on local net-metering policies, government subsidies, and competitor pricing. After-Sales Support: Coordinate with the technical team to ensure smooth installation and maintain long-term client relationships for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (Electrical/Electronic preferred). Experience: 2–5 years in sales specifically within the Solar, UPS, or Battery industry. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Load calculation, KVA vs. KW, PWM/MPPT controllers, and Battery chemistry (Lead Acid vs. Lithium). Soft Skills :Strong negotiation, relationship building, and the ability to simplify technical jargon for non-technical buyers. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Targets: Meeting monthly/quarterly revenue quotas. Lead Conversion: Success rate of turning inquiries into commissioned projects. Customer Acquisition Cost: Efficiency in finding and closing new business. Pipeline Accuracy: Maintaining an organized CRM with up-to-date deal stages.
