Overview

Responsibilities

• Project Management Mastermind: Efficiently oversee multiple solar energy projects from initial conception to final completion, focusing on safety protocols, budget management, scheduling, quality assurance, and comprehensive documentation.
• Technical Sales Trailblazer: Conduct in-depth feasibility studies, develop preliminary solar energy solutions, and craft persuasive technical proposals to attract and secure new clients in the renewable energy sector.
• Contract Champion: Analyze contractor bids, negotiate favorable terms, and manage the procurement process to obtain the best equipment and services for solar projects.
• Regulatory Rock Star: Navigate local permitting processes and ensure that all projects comply with Nigerian regulations and industry best practices in the solar energy field.
• Safety First Champion: Enforce TotalEnergies' stringent HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies and procedures to foster a safe working environment for all personnel involved in solar projects.
• Collaborative Team Player: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (engineering, permitting) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors) to meet and exceed project goals in the solar industry.

Requirements

• You possess a minimum of 5 years of project management experience specializing in solar energy projects.
• You have a proven track record of successfully delivering solar installations (including rooftop, ground-mounted, and carport systems) with capacities of 50-70 MWp.
• Your technical expertise includes experience with Low & Medium Voltage Point of Connection (POC) projects, and familiarity with hybrid solutions involving Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a significant advantage.
• You hold a degree in engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
• Experience working within the Nigerian context is essential, including knowledge of electrical standards, renewable energy regulations, and construction codes.
• You are proficient in various project management methodologies and solar-specific software applications such as MS Project, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Meteonorm, and SolarGIS.
• A strong command of both written and verbal communication, along with excellent negotiation and presentation skills, is crucial.
