Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of staff across plantation and factory locations.
Maintain and update employee records (personnel files, attendance, leave, disciplinary actions)
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, union agreements, and company HR policies.
Support the processing of payroll by collating timesheets, overtime, and statutory deductions.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in coordination with HR leadership.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor staff welfare, ensure policy adherence, and provide HR support.
Coordinate performance appraisal activities and support training and development programs.
Facilitate communication between management and field/plantation staff.
Prepare HR reports such as headcount summaries, turnover analysis, and incident tracking.
Monitor contract and probation expiry dates and manage staff confirmation processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
2 - 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience with payroll, HRIS tools, and employee documentation.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in remote or field environments and relate well with diverse staff groups.
Certification in CIPM or any HR Bodies is an added Advantages.
