Human Resource Operations Officer - Onsite Role in Nigeria

Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of human resources operations, ensuring efficient systems, accurate records, HRIS (Human Resource Information System) management, and a seamless workflow across various departments.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies, procedures, compensation structures, and compliance frameworks to align with labor laws and regulations.
• Support the management of the full talent lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, onboarding processes, offboarding procedures, succession planning, and organizational design.
• Coordinate payroll support through timely and accurate employee data management, attendance tracking, and proper documentation to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Facilitate performance management, staff engagement, employee relations, and retention initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and cultivating a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with executive management to implement HR programs, manage organizational change, develop communication strategies, and promote culture-building initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resource Management (HRM) software.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and labor regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
• HR certification (such as CIPM or SHRM) is a significant advantage in this HR position.
