The Audit Assistant will support the internal audit function, review financial documents, check compliance, verify entries, and assist with VictoriaHalf’s practical audit examples.
This role requires accuracy, honesty, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
Requirements
OND / HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field
Strong understanding of auditing & bookkeeping
Strong attention to detail
Strong accuracy in documentation
Good use of Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must work in-house, not remotely
Should be able to prepare the financial statement
Assist in bank reconciliation reviews
Review petty cash and expense reports
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Should be able to use at least one accounting software, or be willing to learn, such as:
QuickBooks
Sage
Xero
Zoho Books
Wave
Note
It is highly preferred if applicants live around CMD Road, Ikosi, Ketu, Magodo, or nearby areas in Lagos.
Applicants must be able to speak and write English fluently.
