WTS Energy is seeking a Geologist Line Manager for Exploration & Reservoir Characterization based in Port Harcourt, Rivers. This role is vital in identifying geological conditions conducive to hydrocarbon accumulation, supporting the company's exploration initiatives.
As a Geologist Line Manager, you will oversee geological activities, analyze data, and develop static geological models while assessing risks and resource potential. Your day-to-day tasks will involve site visits, project monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals. You will also prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant subsurface experience in the oil and gas industry. Strong technical expertise in geological/geophysical techniques and proficiency in data analysis software are essential. Leadership and excellent communication skills are also required for this role.
