EV Consulting - Our client one of the major players in the construction and property management – Real Estate, with head office at Ikoyi, Lagos is recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Female Accountant Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline. Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, is an added advantage. 3–5 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or Tally). In-depth understanding of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and other statutory regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted standards and regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor reconciliation and invoice processing. Oversee payroll processing, tax remittances, and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.). Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures. Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends, and advise management on cost optimization and revenue enhancement strategies. Support audits (internal and external) and ensure full compliance with financial policies and procedures. Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required. Assist in budget preparation, performance analysis, and variance reporting. Ensure accurate financial documentation and record-keeping for all transactions.
