Job Description

Job Title: Corporate Lawyer and Admin Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom Employment Type: Full-time Sector: Book Publishing Job Summary To perform administrative, operational and management functions including providing expert legal guidance and offering advice on compliance with laws, ensuring ethical standards and protecting client interests.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Law, Public Admin or equivalent with Valid Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in a similar legal role specialization (e.g., Corporate Administration and Governance is preferred). Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; Legal Ethics and Professionalism Problem-Solving and quick adaptability Great Interpersonal Skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate an entire team of marketers and give regular reports Offer advice on legal implications of business decisions, policies, and operations. Conduct thorough legal research on opportunities, regulations, and statutes Prepare and review contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal forms Manage and coordinate Office operations and other Administrative duties Monitor legal changes and ensure company adherence to laws/regulations.
