Join Jhpiego Nigeria as a Basic Emergency Obstetrics and Newborn Care (BEmONC) Capacity Builder in Kebbi State. In this role, you will collaborate with Jhpiego staff to conduct a series of training and mentoring sessions for healthcare workers at Primary Health Care facilities. Your responsibilities will include leading a 5-day skills standardization workshop, conducting advocacy visits, and providing on-site capacity building for healthcare workers, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver essential BEmONC services. Candidates must be practicing medical doctors, registered nurses, or midwives with at least 5 years of clinical experience in Kebbi State. Strong facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills are essential. This consultancy will span a maximum of 14 non-consecutive working days, including training, mentoring, and report writing. This position plays a vital role in enhancing maternal and newborn care, contributing to the reduction of preventable deaths in Nigeria.
