We are looking for an AWS Solution Architect to join Transnet in Abuja. As a leading cloud technology company, Transnet specializes in innovative solutions that enable businesses to optimize their IT infrastructure. In this role, you'll design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective, leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Your daily tasks will include collaborating with various teams to ensure the architecture meets business needs, supporting system migrations from on-premise to the cloud, and ensuring the reliability and security of cloud systems. You'll also monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure while maintaining comprehensive documentation of architectural frameworks.
To qualify, you should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with over three years of experience working with AWS. A strong grasp of cloud architecture, networking, and AWS services like EC2, S3, and VPC is essential. Additionally, you'll need excellent problem-solving skills and AWS certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional).
