Job Summary

• The Supermarket Cashier is responsible for handling customer purchases efficiently and courteously.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them during checkout.
• Scan, weigh, and price items accurately.
• Process payments (cash, card, transfers, vouchers) and issue receipts.
• Balance the cash register and report discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout counter.
• Assist in bagging and packing customer purchases.
• Answer customer inquiries or direct them to the right department.
• Adhere to company policies, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a cashier, sales assistant, or in customer service (preferred).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Honesty, reliability, and a customer-first attitude.

Salary 
N70,000 per month.
